Artists Amongst Us
Everyone can be creative.
BRICK is working in partnership with the Lighthouse Project at St Mary’s Church, Leyton to offer free creative workshops alongside Lighthouse Lunches (served from 12:00). Following the excellent nutritious meal, we’ll explore all things creative, from drawing, painting or clay modelling, to creative writing and more. We’d love to hear your ideas.
The creative arts workshops will be an inclusive, welcoming space alongside other Thursday activities. You can join in for some or all of a session, and attend one or every workshop. It’s up to you – drop in and out as you like. No need to book, just come and say hello!
Creativity is how we express ourselves. That’s why we are creating this free community space to make and explore, sharing ideas and skills, and connect with people. Everyone has their own way of being creative.
Those taking part will be invited to share their work in an exhibition of creative work at the end of the project, celebrating the rich heritage and diverse creativity amongst Waltham Forest residents.
Artists Amongst Us is generously funded by Waltham Forest’s Community Chest Grants.
